A variety of odd styles, bare baby bumps, sparkles, ruffles, metallics, and pearls were seen on the red carpet this year.

This year, there was something for everyone’s fashion preferences, plus much more.

Some stars chose typical red-carpet styles, while others wore eccentric costumes, intended to capture attention.

Sam Smith (above) chose the latter and looked to float away in this brilliant black, plastic outfit. We hope they were okay when they tried to sit down.

US artist and rapper Ashnikko’s eye-catching attire melded with her body like a second layer of incredibly odd skin, finished off with her distinctive blue hair.
