Two cars were traveling at a high rate of speed, according to the police; one of them struck a scooter and parked cars before a fatal shot.

Perm, a drill rapper, has been identified online as one of the two victims of a fatal car accident and shooting in south London.

Sunday evening, just before 8 p.m., two cars were traveling at high speeds when one of them struck a moped and several parked cars in Brixton, according to the Metropolitan Police.

A man in his twenties exited the crashed vehicle and was pursued and fatally shot by a gunman in the second vehicle, which then fled.

The man passed away on Railton Road.

The rider of the moped, believed to be a 20-year-old Deliveroo employee, died as a result of his injuries.

According to police, there is no evidence that he was a target.

Father and boxing promoter Dean Whyte commented on Instagram, “RIP my boy, daddy loves you.”

The homage was offered by the heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte, a close friend of Dean Whyte who was promoted by him.

Deliveroo said: “This is an awful tragedy, and our thoughts go out to those who have lost their lives and their loved ones.

“We are shocked and dismayed that such horrific acts can occur in one of our towns, and we have pledged to assist the police in every way possible.”

Police said no arrests have been made, but investigations continue.

Chief Superintendent Colin Wingrove said: “I believe I speak for the entire community when I say I am surprised and saddened by this tragedy.

We are already working closely with our partners to provide residents and others who have been affected with reassurance and assistance.

Week of hostility

The killings on Sunday bring the total number of people killed in shootings in the capital last week to four, following a separate incident in Ilford, east London, on Tuesday in which two men were killed and a third was wounded.

In July, three men were shot and killed in separate incidents within six days.

Before these murders, between October 31, 2021, and July 19, this year, there had been no firearm-related fatalities in London.

Metropolitan Police documented 12 fatal gunshots out of a total of 134 homicides in 2021.

The number of all shootings, including fatal and nonfatal incidents, decreased from 283 in 2019/20 to 196 in 2021/22 according to a statement released in April by the force.
