French police are searching for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games organizers’ headquarters.

The searches, according to officials, are part of two preliminary corruption investigations.

Police are investigating allegations of favoritism and misuse of public funds in the awarding of construction contracts.

A spokesperson for the Paris 2024 organizing committee told that the organization was “fully cooperating with investigators.”

The Olympic Games of 2024 will be held from 26 July to 11 August, while the Paralympics will be held in September.
