The Heritage Foundation is investigating if the Duke of Sussex’s immigration application supports his Spare memoirs.

A federal magistrate will hear an appeal from a conservative think tank to unseal Prince Harry’s US immigration records in the wake of drug use revelations in his book.

Nile Gardner tweeted on Tuesday that the Heritage Foundation’s case will be heard on June 6.

He wrote that the “Prince Harry immigration records case will be heard before a US Federal Judge in Washington, DC Federal Court”

In addition, he announced that the proceedings will be accessible to the media.

Drug use in the past can be grounds for denying a US visa application.

In the book, it was disclosed that Harry had experimented with cocaine, marijuana, and magic mushrooms.

It occurs during an ongoing High Court trial in which the duke is pursuing a contested claim. Against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) over allegations of unlawful information gathering.

He is also awaiting decisions on whether analogous cases against Daily Mail publisher Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) and Sun publisher News Group Newspapers (NGN) can proceed.

The duke’s libel complaint against ANL over a story about his Home Office case is also expected.
