Hours later, he returned to the site and shot and killed 24-year-old Dylan Lyons, who was covering the story for Spectrum News 13 and wounded photographer Jesse Walden.

Mr. Walden, speaking to KOB in Albuquerque, an NBC News affiliate, recalled the instant his colleague was shot.

“Dylan was a correspondent I collaborated with every day. We were closest friends”.

He was just a nice person.

Mr. Walden said he heard gunfire and felt pain in his groyne while getting his camera from his colleague’s trunk.

“I observe that he is aiming at me. I got shot because I assumed he was shooting at a house or something behind me.

But he continued to fire at me.

Mr. Walden stated that he dove under the car’s wheel as the assailant approached and opened fire.

Dylan Lyons, who was in the passenger seat, was struck and slain.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has also released dramatic bodycam footage of Moses’ arrest.

Moses repeatedly yells “let me go” and “I can’t breathe” at the officers in the expletive-laden video after being grappled to the ground.

Moses says, “It’s still hot,” as one officer removes a pistol from his pocket.

In other images distributed by the police, Moses appears to be grinning as he is arrested.

Moses has been officially charged with the assassination of Ms. Augustin, with whom he was acquainted.

Additional accusations will be filed about the other four victims, whom he did not know.

According to authorities, the adolescent has an extensive criminal history, including charges involving firearms, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, and theft.
