Although Ms. Heslop remains officially missing three years after disappearing from the catamaran of her beau, her mother now believes she was murdered. The family has enlisted the aid of a former Metropolitan Police homicide commander in the ongoing search.

The family of a British woman who has been missing in the US Virgin Islands for three years is appealing to President Biden for assistance in locating her.

Former Southampton air hostess Sarm Heslop appeared to be living her ideal existence in the US Virgin Islands, a collection of Caribbean islands renowned for their pristine turquoise waters and pristine white sand.

She had relocated to be with her new beau, Ryan Bane, and the two were cohabitating and collaborating on the Siren Song, which belonged to Mr. Bane.

However, during the darkness of night in March 2021, the 41-year-old vanished from the catamaran. Although she remains officially missing after three years, Brenda Street, her mother, now believes that her daughter was murdered.

“She was murdered, in my opinion,” Ms. Street stated. “There are locations where individuals may be lost at sea and never be discovered.” I believe that to have occurred. Simply transporting her home would allow me to lament. “I am unable to grieve because I am without her and have no idea how to do so.”

The evening before her disappearance, Mr Bane and Ms Heslop were seen at a sports pub in Frank Bay, St John. Mr. Bane notified the Virgin Islands Police Department at 2.30 a.m. the following morning that he had discovered Ms. Heslop absent upon awakening.

He reportedly failed to notify the coastguard despite being advised to do so nine hours later. A coastguard report states that he was “extremely intoxicated” when they boarded the vessel, which allegedly prohibited a search of the cabin.

Island police have never interrogated Mr. Bane, the vessel has never been forensically inspected, and the FBI has been denied assistance.

As human beings and police officers, they have failed to perform their duties, Ms. Street stated.

Ms. Street, residing in Essex, demanded that the United States authorities transfer the matter away from the Virgin Islands police.

She stated, “I emailed President Biden.” “However, he did not respond. I am requesting that he or one of his departments assist us.”

Former Met recruit family Police superintendent of homicides.

David Johnston, a former Metropolitan Police homicide commander, has been enlisted by the family to aid in the search for Ms. Heslop. He has urged Foreign Secretary Lord Cameron in a letter to urge him to encourage the United States to intervene in the investigation conducted by the Virgin Islands Police Department.

“Unlock your financial potential with free Webull shares in the UK.”

Mr. Johnston stated, “At this time, I believe it is critical that David Cameron, as foreign secretary, hold his counterpart in the United States, the secretary of state for the interior, accountable. He should demand that the island governor provide the family with unambiguous answers regarding their actions thus far and any additional measures that could be taken.” Additionally, the boyfriend’s formal interview is held, during which he is questioned about the events of that evening.

The boyfriend is convicted of domestic violence.

Mr. Bane is convicted of domestic violence. He was convicted of assaulting his ex-wife, Cori Stephenson, in 2011.

Mr. Bane’s attorney issued the following statement: “Although we sympathize with the distress of Sarm’s family, Ryan Bane was in no way responsible for Sarm’s disappearance.” Ryan is devastated by the news that Sarm has vanished… The coastguard boarded the vessel twice to interrogate Ryan and conduct a search. “They were granted unrestricted access to the vessel, and Ryan responded to every question directed at him.”

We are in communication with the US Virgin Islands Police and the US coastguard to assist the family of a British woman who has been reported missing in the US Virgin Islands, according to a spokesperson for the UK Foreign Office.

The Virgin Islands Police Department declined to comment in response to multiple inquiries.
