Lady Gabriella Windsor married Mr. Kingston, 45, in 2019 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Thomas Kingston, the 45-year-old husband of Lady Gabriella Kingston, daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, has unexpectedly died.

“The King and Queen have been informed of Thomas’s passing and grieve with Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and all who knew him,” said a Buckingham Palace spokesperson. “He was a much-loved member of the family.

Their Majesties send their deepest sympathy and prayers particularly to Gabriella and the whole Kingston family.

Moreover, Mr. Kingston’s family released the following statement: “We are saddened to announce the death of Thomas Kingston, our beloved husband, son, and brother. Our grief is immeasurable.

On Sunday, just after 6:00 p.m., emergency services were called to an address in Gloucestershire, where they found Mr. Kingston deceased.

An inquest will be held to ascertain the cause of death. There are no other persons involved, and the circumstances are not suspicious.

Kensington Palace stated on Tuesday that Prince William would miss a memorial ceremony for personal reasons.

William was due to be present at a memorial service at Windsor Castle for the late King Constantine of Greece. However, the notification of his absence was made less than an hour before the service was scheduled to begin at St George’s Chapel.
