On New Year’s Eve, Johnny Brady, who is serving a hospital sentence for a major assault, escaped from St. Andrew’s Healthcare. Police have issued a warning against approaching the 19-year-old.
The police are seeking a juvenile who fled from a Northampton mental health facility.
Johnny Brady, a 19-year-old serving a hospital order for a major assault in Derby, fled the St. Andrew’s Healthcare facility on New Year’s Eve at 3:00 p.m.
Brady is white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and thin. The last time he was observed, he was wearing black Adidas tracksuit bottoms, a black sweatshirt, and black sneakers.
Northamptonshire Police asked the public under no circumstances to approach him.
A force spokesperson stated, “We would like to immediately contact Johnny to reassure him that he is not in danger, but he must return to St. Andrew’s or identify himself to the police.
“We must ensure that you are safe and receive the necessary treatment.
“We would also like to appeal to the public not to approach Johnny under any circumstances.”
Nicholas Courtney, a 43-year-old convicted sex offender, also left the hospital, but his escape is not believed to be related to Brady’s.
Sunday morning he was located and returned to the facility.
A police official stated, “We are glad to inform you that the missing patient Nicholas Courtney has been located and returned to the Northampton St. Andrew’s Healthcare Centre.”
Thank you for sharing our appeal; your help is always appreciated.
