While formal identification has not yet occurred, notification has been made to the family of 64-year-old Clare Marshall.
The River Tay has yielded a cadaver as part of the investigation into the whereabouts of Miss Marshall.

A search for Ms. Marshall commenced at the start of the week, aided by the Police Scotland helicopter’s specialized capabilities.
It is believed that the 64-year-old departed the Dundee Road vicinity of Perth early on Monday morning and traveled on foot to Moncreiffe Island.
Human remains were discovered in the vicinity of the island at approximately 12:50 pm on Thursday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated on Friday, “Officers have notified her family.”
No suspicious circumstances have been identified in relation to the demise.
