The 18-year-old victim was discovered by police in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, with severe injuries and perished at the scene.
Police say a man died after climbing onto the hood of a vehicle that was driven across an intersection before he fell off.
Officers discovered the 18-year-old victim with grievous injuries on Booth Road in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, at approximately 5 a.m. on Saturday.
The teenager succumbed to his injuries at the site.
The police arrested an 18-year-old man for reckless driving that caused a tragic crash.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) issued the following statement: “Investigations revealed that the victim ascended onto the bonnet of a vehicle – a grey Ford Ka – and was driven across the Dunham Road/Booth Road intersection.
Tragically, he sustained fatal injuries after he plummeted from the bonnet.
The officer also added that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
Officers are requesting that anyone with information regarding the incident contact them.
GMP is also interested in hearing from anyone with pertinent footage, including CCTV, mobile, or dashcam.
