- Plumber’s singing leads to Hollywood
- Bathroom installation before spring tour
- Film titled “The Music Inside”
Prior to his springtime singing tour, Kev Crane, who was discovered while laboring in the home of a record label executive, is completing the installation of an additional bathroom.
The Hollywood blockbuster adaptation of a plumber’s life story fulfils his decade-long dream of a musical tour.
Kev Crane, 51, from Quorn, Leicestershire, states that he will finish installing an additional bathroom in January before preparing for a spring tour of football clubs to perform his singing, after his abilities were discovered at work.
“The next-door neighbour heard me singing in the bathroom and asked Paul, the owner of News Reality Records, ‘Who’s that guy singing in your bathroom?'” He refers to himself as “the plumber.”
Mr. Crane explained, “We begin conversing, and he informs me that he is affiliated with a record label.” I respond, “In fact, I’ve just completed a recording studio in my loft and rekindled an album I began twenty-five years ago.”
Lockdown allowed Mr. Crane, a decades-long band member, to build the studio and rekindle his love.
“The sound is a perfect homage to the 1980s,” record producer Paul Conneally remarked. He invented this alone, which amazed me as no one else was doing anything similar.
Hollywood Adapts Plumber’s Journey
I suddenly remembered him being locked in twenty years ago while rebuilding his ambition; we should publish this.
Following the publication of music by his record label, Hollywood screenwriters became aware of his story via the Washington Post.
Mr. Crane flew to Los Angeles for meetings with director Billy Ray, who penned the screenplays for the 2012 sensation The Hunger Games and the 2013 Tom Hanks film Captain Phillips.
What I adored about this story was that it was about Kevin and Paul, two men for whom music had been everything for roughly twenty years, according to Mr. Ray. However, they lost that connection for the duration of the story.
Then they found the link and saved each other, even though neither knew they needed help. Simply put, I thought that was lovely.

He stated that British screenwriters Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais are collaborating on the script. In addition to The Commitments, the couple wrote Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, and The Likely Lads.
Mr. Ray announced that the film’s title would be “The Music Inside” and that “someone spectacular” would play the lead.
