New footage reveals that Nelson Piquet used homophobic language against Lewis Hamilton.
In a podcast, the three-time former world champion used this phrase to describe how Hamilton lost the 2016 championship to Nico Rosberg.

He commented on Hamilton: “At the time, the [racist term] must have been [homophobic slur]. He was quite awful.”
This comes days after Piquet apologized to Hamilton “wholeheartedly” for using a racial slur.
While discussing a collision between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen on a Brazilian podcast in 2021, the 69-year-old allegedly used language equivalent to or comparable to the N-word.
Piquet started in that interview that he “strongly condemned” any suggestion that his remarks were racist.
