The exercise video for individuals with Parkinson’s disease is available for free online, and it is hoped that it will have a positive effect on symptoms such as involuntary tremors, slow movement, and stiff or inflexible muscles.

Joe Wicks has collaborated with the NHS to produce a workout video specifically for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Regular exercise has been shown to alleviate symptoms such as involuntary tremors, slowed movement, and rigid or inflexible muscles.

Wicks has collaborated with specialists at London’s St. Thomas’ Hospital to assist patients in exercising at home.

Wicks stated, “I am so passionate about making exercise accessible to everyone, regardless of ability.”

Sir Frederick Barclay, the octogenarian who managed the 2004 Telegraph buyout with his late brother Sir David, is Aidan’s cousin.

Milly Khan, a highly specialized neuro-physiotherapist at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ National Health Service Foundation Trust, stated, “Physical activity is a vital part of Parkinson’s treatment, and the disease should not be a barrier to being physically active.

“This home-based resource makes a huge difference. Not only for the patients I see at St. Thomas’, but for those across the country.”

Wicks, also known as The Body Coach, who was lauded for conducting daily online physical education classes during the lockdown, compiled ten distinct exercises for the workout video.

The Parkinson’s exercise video is available for free online on The Body Coach’s YouTube channel.
