Ivana Trump died after sustaining “blunt impact injuries” to her torso during a fall downstairs at her New York City residence.
The New York City Medical Examiner’s Office has decided that the death of the 73-year-old first wife of former U.S. President Donald Trump was unintentional.
Ivana was reportedly discovered at the bottom of her apartment’s stairway next to a cup of coffee that had spilled.
According to American health officials, falls are the greatest cause of injury-related death for adults 65 and older.
Ivana Trump is Donald Trump’s first wife and the mother of his three eldest children; she married the real estate mogul in 1977.
The Trump family paid tribute to the matriarch on Thursday, describing her as a “wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman who led a terrific and inspiring life.”
Ivanka Trump stated that she was “heartbroken” and that she would “miss her forever.”
“Mom was intelligent, lovely, ardent, and wickedly humorous. “She never missed an occasion to laugh and dance, living life to the fullest,” the former presidential adviser wrote on Twitter.
I shall always miss her, and we will always keep her memory alive in our hearts.
Mr. Trump, who was banned from Twitter indefinitely, announced the passing of his social media network Truth Social.
“I am deeply heartbroken to inform everyone who loved her, of which there were many, that Ivana Trump passed away at her New York City home,” he stated.
“She was a fantastic, attractive, and remarkable woman who had a remarkable and inspiring life.
“She was most proud of her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was equally as proud of them as we were of her. “May Ivana Rest In Peace”.
