Monday morning, police were still conducting forensic work in the Commercial Street area, and West Yorkshire Police urged anyone with video footage of the incident to contact them.
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a second man in the wake of three stabbings in Halifax.
On Sunday at 3:48 a.m., West Yorkshire Police responded to reports of three men being assaulted on Commercial Street.
All three were taken to the hospital with puncture wounds.
Shortly after, a 21-year-old man died in the hospital, and it was revealed on Monday that a 19-year-old also passed away late Sunday evening.

A third 18-year-old male received treatment for a non-life-threatening injury.
Three 18-year-old and 19-year-old males have been arrested and are currently in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Matt Holdsworth says two young men died and a third was injured in this event.
DCI Holdsworth added, “Specialist officers are providing support to the families of both victims, and we are determined to identify and bring to justice those responsible.”
Police requested that anybody with cell phone or dashcam footage contact them Monday morning due to a large police presence.
