Neil Canney, 37, died in hospital last week after being attacked outside of his residence in Greenock, Scotland.
In connection with the shooting death of a man on his doorstep, a second suspect has been detained and charged.
On February 28 at approximately 1.15 a.m., Neil Canney was severely injured in an assault outside his home on Nairn Road in Greenock, Inverclyde.
The 37-year-old was transported by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he perished shortly afterward.
Police Scotland announced on Monday that a 28-year-old male had been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
On Friday, a 22-year-old man was apprehended and charged with the incident.
The duo is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff’s Court today.
