A man charged with inciting the abduction of television host Holly Willoughby and soliciting her assassination has pleaded not guilty to both offenses.

Gavin Plumb, 36, of Potters Field, Harlow, Essex, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court.

The allegations relate to an alleged conspiracy involving the former host of This Morning between October 2 and 5.

The security officer of the shopping centre, dressed in a grey T-shirt, only confirmed his information and entered his plea.

The defendant is accused of attempting to construct a “kidnapping and restraint kit” and encouraging a third party to travel to the United Kingdom to carry out the alleged offenses.

On June 24th, Judge Mary Loram KC scheduled Mr. Plumb’s trial and remanded him in custody.

The trial is expected to last for two weeks.
