The tragedy is the worst incident involving skydiving in Poland in the past nine years. A child was among the hospitalized injured, and two individuals are in critical condition.

In Poland, five people were murdered and eight were injured when a plane crashed into a hangar where people were seeking shelter from stormy weather.

On Monday afternoon, the pilot of the Cessna 208 and four others who were inside the skydiving center perished.

A child is among the injured as a result of the accident in the village of Chrcynno, and two people sustained severe injuries.

Firefighters continue their search for additional victims in the hangar.

It is the worst tragedy involving skydiving in Poland in the past nine years.

In 2014, eleven persons perished when a small plane crashed near the city of Czestochowa in southern Poland.

The police are investigating the accident that occurred on Monday.

Chrcynno is located approximately 45 kilometers (28 miles) northwest of Poland’s capital, Warsaw.
