According to police, two individuals were killed in a shooting at a Mercedes-Benz factory in southwestern Germany.

A 53-year-old guy entered a Sindelfingen plant’s production centre and shot two 44-year-old men.

One of the victims died at the scene, while the other subsequently passed away in the hospital. No one else was injured.

According to police, security personnel detained the suspect and turned him over to officers, who apprehended him without resistance.

The incident occurred around 07:45 local time (05:45 GMT), according to police in Ludwigsburg.
