About 80% of exports from Paranagua, the second-largest grain, and sugar port in the country, are transported by truck.
After the avalanche, the BR-277 road leading to the Paranagua and Antonia ports was closed but was scheduled to reopen last night.
The port authorities have declined to provide a loss estimate.
At Paranagua, operators and terminals are moving products that are expected to last till this weekend.
