According to the official website of the Brazilian military, General Julio Cesar de Arruda has been ousted from his position as army chief.
General Tomas Miguel Ribeiro Paiva, who led the Southeast Military Command, has replaced him.

Justice Alexandre de Moraes warned, in response to a plea from federal prosecutors, that “public actors who continue to cowardly collaborate against democracy to establish a state of exception will be held guilty.”
Mr. Bolsonaro, who is in the United States for medical treatment, will be probed for alleged “instigation and intellectual authorship of the anti-democratic activities that ended in vandalism and violence,” according to prosecutors.
