Seven dead found in Oklahoma residence searching for two missing girls

Officials issued an amber alert early Monday morning indicating that two adolescents were missing, but the alert was canceled later that day after seven bodies were discovered on the property.

Authorities searching a property in Oklahoma for two missing adolescents have discovered the bodies of seven individuals.

Okmulgee County Sheriff Eddy Rice said he believed the bodies to be those of 14-year-old Ivy Webster and 16-year-old Brittany Brewer, as well as Jesse McFadden, a registered sex offender with whom authorities said the teens were traveling.

The state medical examiner must validate the identities of the victims, he said, but “we believe we have located them.”

He speculated that the other bodies were members of McFadden’s family. He refused to provide additional information, including how the seven perished.

Officials issued an amber alert early Monday morning indicating that the two adolescents were missing. But the alert was canceled later that day after the bodies were discovered on the property near Henryetta.

“Brittany was an outgoing person,” her father, Nathan Brewer, told KOTV.

“She was selected as Miss Henryetta for the National Miss Pageant in Tulsa in July, but she won’t be able to attend because she’s deceased. She has left.”

The Oklahoma Sex Offender registry indicates that 39-year-old Jesse Lee McFadden resides at the location where the corpses were discovered.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, McFadden was convicted of first-degree rape in 2003 and will be released in October 2020.

According to court documents, he was scheduled to stand trial for soliciting sexual conduct with a minor and possession of child pornography on Monday.

Henryetta Public Schools stated on its website. “At this time, we are all lamenting the tragic loss of a number of our students.

“Our hearts are broken, and we have contemplated what is best for our students in the days ahead. This is going to be a very difficult day with education.”

Gerald Davidson, a spokesman for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, stated that an individual informed the violent crime task force in the Okmulgee County District Attorney’s office on Monday that the two girls may be in the company of another person at the Holly Road property just outside of Henryetta.

Deputies of the sheriff responded to the site twice. On their second visit, they discovered evidence that led them to the corpses, he added. During their first visit, they had no contact with anyone.
