Hillary Clinton dances salsa with Finland’s prime minister.

Earlier this month, Finland’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin was required to take a drug test for “legal protection” after videos of her dancing with pals were leaked.

In a statement of solidarity to the prime minister of Finland, Hillary Clinton shared a photo of herself dancing in a salsa club during her tenure as secretary of state.

The photograph depicts Mrs. Clinton with her hand in the air at Cafe Havana in Cartagena, Colombia, during a break from the 2012 America summit.

“According to Ann Richards, Ginger Rogers performed everything Fred Astaire did. She did it backward while wearing high heels “She wrote the text.

“As secretary of state, I was in Cartagena for a meeting when this photo was taken. Keep dancing, Sanna Marin.”

The message was sent after videos of the Finnish prime minister dancing with pals at a private residence surfaced, sparking criticism of her leadership and leading to a drug test.

The married mother-of-one, who has strongly denied ever taking drugs, said she had to undergo the test, which came back negative, for her “own legal protection”.

“I had some free time, which I spent with friends. And I didn’t do anything criminal, “She commented at the time.

Six individuals, including Mrs. Marin, could be seen dancing and lip-syncing to a song in the videos, with Mrs. Marin afterward seen dancing on her knees with her hands behind her head.

In another video, she could be seen dancing with male popstar Olavi Uusivirta in a Helsinki nightclub; however, Ms. Marin has refuted claims that he kissed her on the neck.

A few days later, an image of two female social media influencers kissing and posing naked in her official apartment at a party was published online.

The 36-year-old apologized for the photo, stating that it was “inappropriate,” but added that “nothing unusual occurred at the gathering.”

Ms. Marin, who has been married to Markus Raikkonen since 2020, is the youngest head of state in the world.

While she was criticized for the videos, hundreds of women posted films of themselves dancing with the hashtag #SolidaritywithSanna to express their support online.

Many individuals believed that the Finnish prime minister was subjected to significantly greater scrutiny than male colleagues such as Boris Johnson and Donald Trump.
