In June and July, the consultancy Advanced Workplace Associates examined 43 offices in the United Kingdom, representing roughly 50,000 workers.
It indicates that the average attendance was 29%, with a midweek peak of 39%.
During the epidemic, offices transitioned to home-working, but since then, many have maintained a hybrid style.

It also polled 36 workplaces in 12 more nations, totaling almost 27,000 individuals.
The findings of the consulting firm indicated that people were entering the office an average of 1.4 days per week, compared to 3.8 days per week pre-pandemic.
The average attendance was 26%, with a midweek top of 35%.
Average attendance was lowest in North America and Latin America.
The sector with the highest average attendance was financed, while technology had the lowest.
The poll indicated that businesses with hybrid working rules, in which employees are required to be in the office for a specific number of days, had higher attendance than those without.
Nonetheless, employees appeared to be attending the workplace less frequently than the policy permitted.
Attendance is 41% when a company allows its teams to determine its policies, which is about the same as when a three-day workweek is mandated.

Since then, guidance and regulatory limits have varied across the United Kingdom, but in England and Scotland, the recommendation to work from home was rescinded in January. Other regions of the United Kingdom maintained the guidance for longer but finally abandoned it.
