According to local media, a knife attack in the western German city of Solingen claimed the lives of many people. According to Bild, a guy randomly stabbed passersby during a fair in the city centre on Friday evening. Several more were also hurt. The perpetrator is thought to have fled the area, and police have initiated a manhunt. Police helicopters were observed hovering over the city.
