Sudan’s RSF accuses Egypt of air strikes on its forces
The chief of Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has accused Egypt of being engaged in air strikes on the paramilitary group, but Cairo has denied the allegations. Dagalo, also known as Hemedti, alleged that Egypt was deploying US bombers to target his soldiers near Jebel Moya, a strategic location south of Khartoum. "If the Americans were not in agreement, these bombs would not reach Sudan," he stated in a video uploaded online on Wednesday.
$1,800 per seat: luxury vessels depart Lebanon as planes dry up
The Princess 2010 yacht is an amazing example of a boat. Before the war, its shining white hull could be seen patrolling Lebanon's coastline, revellers making the most of the 24-metre-long craft for which they each paid $600. Since Israel began an intensive bombing campaign throughout large parts of Lebanon on September 23, the Princess has been on a completely different voyage. The $1.3 million vessel has been transporting families from Beirut to Cyprus, with bottles of champagne replaced with hurriedly packed luggage.
Israeli Tanks Mobilize Near Lebanon Border Amid Plans to Expand Military Operations
Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant is reviewing plans to expand Israel's military offensive, as tanks and troops gather along the northern border with Lebanon. This buildup follows the death of Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut on Friday. In a statement released on Saturday, Gallant's office confirmed that he was conducting an "operational situation assessment" focused on "expanding IDF (Israel Defence Forces) activities in the northern arena." Israeli tanks stationed near the border have heightened speculations that Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah is set to escalate further.
