Damar Hamlin fainted and suffered a heart arrest after making a tackle against the Cincinnati Bengals. His team, the Buffalo Bills, reported that the 24-year-heart old are stopped before medical personnel “restored” it on the field.
The family of Damar Hamlin, an NFL player who suffered a heart attack during a game, has requested prayers for him.
In a statement, his relatives expressed their “sincere appreciation for the love and care” offered to him during “this difficult period”. And thanked the emergency personnel and medical workers.
They said, “We are profoundly affected by the prayers, kind comments, and donations of fans around the nation.”
After sustaining an injury while making a tackle against the Cincinnati Bengals. The defensive back for the Buffalo Bills fell on the field and received CPR for nearly 10 minutes.
Tee Higgins, a Bengals wide receiver, collided with him. He was then able to rise to his feet and appeared to adjust his helmet before falling backward and becoming immobile.

The Bills reported that the 24-year-heart old is stopped before being “revived” on the field by medical personnel.
His football shirt was reportedly removed, and he was administered oxygen.
The Bills tweeted that Hamlin was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for additional testing and treatment.
The club stated that he is currently sedated and in critical condition.
His relatives added: “We would also like to thank the first responders and medical staff at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center who gave Damar amazing treatment.
“We are incredibly grateful to be a part of the Buffalo Bills organization and to have their support. We would also like to thank Coach (Zac) Taylor and the Bengals for their efforts.
Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us. Please say a prayer for Damar. We will publish updates as soon as they become available.”
Higgins led with his right shoulder, which struck the defensive back in the chest during the incident.
Hamlin then wrapped his arms around Higgins’ shoulders and helmet to bring him to the ground.
The episode resulted in an increase in donations. To a charity initiative established by Hamlin two years earlier to purchase toys for disadvantaged children.
As an ambulance transported Hamlin to a hospital, Bill’s players and staff prayed together on the field.
After the event, supporters gave his teammates a standing ovation. And NFL commissioner Roger Goodell declared that the game would be postponed.
