This two-second workaround speeds up your iPhone.

It’s awful enough when you’re fighting for signal, scrolling endlessly past grey square after grey square; when Wi-Fi finally connects, you’re still waiting, waiting, waiting…

The hack was shared on Twitter by @TodayYearsOld, who posed the following question to their followers: “How old were you when you discovered that you can press and hold the iPhone tab browser to save three minutes of swiping?”

And hundreds of people commented on the post, with many stating that they ‘never knew’ about this strategy.

One respondent responded, “I had no idea.”

After this, a hidden menu will appear.

You can tap Close All X Tabs to immediately close them all.
