Former No. 10 adviser Dominic Cummings claims to have met with Rishi Sunak twice to discuss political strategy and how to vanquish Labour over the past year.

His right-hand man-turned-arch-critic, Boris Johnson, stated on his blog that the current prime minister had instructed him to “secretly” develop a strategy.

However, he stated that his contracting conditions had not been satisfied.

According to Downing Street, a lengthy discussion of politics and campaigning ensued, but no employment offer was made.

The acrimonious end was Mr. Cummings’ relationship with former prime minister Mr. Johnson. But a Sunday Times report indicates that he met the incumbent in December and July of last year.

The former Vote Leave strategist stated that Mr. Sunak had instructed him to work behind the scenes on politics and communications prior to the general election, promising him a return to No. 10 if the Conservatives, which are trailing Labour in the polls, prevailed.

Mr. Cummings stated that he desired more immediate action on what he regarded as critical issues. Such as reorganising defence procurement and preventing future pandemics, and that he believed the government required reform.

He stated that his conditions were not fulfilled.

“The prime minister rejected the agreement I put forth. In lieu of that, he desired that I clandestinely engage in political and communication activities, promising that I could return to No. 10 and reorganise my priorities once the election was over,” he composed.

“I declined.”

When invited to address the prime minister in July, Mr. Cummings said he hadn’t spoken to Mr. Sunak again. However, he characterised their conversation as “essentially a repeat.”

According to him, the two individuals “clearly disagreed on what he had been doing and what he desired to do,” and Mr. Sunak’s approach to governance was “doomed.”

“My open involvement in government… would drive the MPs and media insane and cause him serious political problems,” according to Mr. Cummings, which the prime minister believed.

He further expressed his displeasure with the prospect of preparing for the upcoming election, stating that it “makes me feel sick.” He wants the capacity to “ensure action on critical issues,” not his old position.”

Mr. Sunak said Mr. Cummings would have “absolutely nothing to do with any government that I am privileged to lead.” This statement was made during his 2022 campaign for the Tory leadership.

According to Labour, Mr. Sunak “acknowledges he is at a loss for ideas and too feeble to generate his own.”

To quietly reclaim Downing Street, shadow paymaster general Jonathan Ashworth is extorting Barnard Castle. This is despite having pledged to restore the organization’s integrity.

Mr Cummings visited Barnard Castle during isolation for the Covid-19 epidemic, claiming to check his vision.

Wendy Chamberlain, chief deputy of the Liberal Democrats, characterised Mr. Sunak’s omission of disclosing his meetings with Mr. Cummings as “evidently a violation of the Ministerial Code.”

She stated that the public is weary of this never-ending Conservative Party soap opera. They struggle to find a primary care physician, and mortgage and rent costs soar.
