Kylie Jenner’s radiant complexion and remarkably slender physique provide ample justification for her status as one of the most attractive women in the world.

However, despite her remarkable physical attractiveness and status as a self-made billionaire, the 26-year-old A-lister is not immune to criticism regarding her appearance.

On Wednesday, Kylie presented a minimalist look at the Jean Paul Gaultier Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2024 event, adorning herself with a traditional updo and minimal makeup.

Departing for the French capital, she opted for a sophisticated aesthetic by donning a corseted minidress with a layer of ethereal champagne tulle.

However, the “reinvention” of the makeup entrepreneur sparked an uproar on social media, with users claiming she appeared to be in her forties.

One person inquired maliciously, “What injury did Kylie Jenner sustain to her face? I recently read that she is only 26 but appears to be an oldie in this photo.”

Another user stated in a comment that has been viewed 25 million times: “We are witnessing in real time the effects of long-term filler use on aging.” Similarly, one individual remarked that it was “irrational” that the injections had “obliterated” her youth.

Kylie, currently in a relationship with Timothée Chalamet, a Hollywood celebrity, has categorically denied having fillers injected into her face. This allegedly anti-aging practice is gaining popularity among younger women.

In a Wall Street Journal interview from the previous year, Kylie asserted that she had “never touched my face.”

Dermal Fillers: Beauty or Burden?

Kylie, then seventeen years old, did, however, confess to receiving lip injections in 2015, following months of intense internet speculation. She explained that her thin lips were an “insecurity of mine.”

Therefore, despite the lack of evidence that Kylie utilized fillers, can they truly result in an aged appearance?

Presently, dermatologists advise that, paradoxically, excessive use may produce such results that they are disproportionate.

In cosmetic clinics, such fillers—typically collagen or hyaluronic acid injections—are available for as little as £75.

The intended effects are wrinkle reduction and volume enhancement, which may endure for 18 months.

However, according to Dr. Emma Wedgeworth, a consultant dermatologist and spokesperson for the British Skin Foundation. Facial filler can frequently appear unnatural on younger people.

Dermal fillers were originally intended to compensate for volume loss in aging faces,” she explained.

When used for augmentation in younger individuals or to alter natural features, the results can frequently appear unnatural.

“Like when young children are seen with heavy makeup, this is perceived by the eye as aging. It appears slightly inappropriate and out of place.”

She further stated, “At this time, the potential long-term consequences of utilizing dermal fillers starting from an early age remain unknown.”

Fillers: Longevity and Health Risks

“However, with the increasing prevalence of fillers among young people, I believe we are beginning to observe a significant deviation from the ideal proportions of the face.”

Utilized properly, dermal fillers are an effective treatment; however, they must be applied cautiously.

Dr. Emma Craythorne, a fellow consultant dermatologist and British Cosmetic Dermatology Group member stated, “Disadvantages arise when extremely large quantities of filler are utilized.”

She stated, “It was once believed that these fillers would dissolve and be absorbed by the body, rendering them non-existent within six, nine, or one year.”

However, three, four, or five years after a patient has received filler, I still observe fillers on their MRI scans.

“As I remove skin cancer from a patient during surgery, I might inquire, ‘Have you had filler here?'” The patient would respond, “I haven’t had filler in ten years.” It is still present, however. It is visible through the epidermis.’

“Fillers last much longer than we realize, and most fillers are water-absorbent agents,” she stated.

“Hyaluronic acid expands beyond the amount of water that is introduced.” Consequently, it expands in those regions. This enables further facial volume to be achieved.

However, it can also obstruct lymphatic drainage, especially near the eyes.

In instances where filler has been applied, it can obstruct normal fluid drainage away from the epidermis. In some instances, the appearance of the object becomes considerably puffier.

She said using filler regularly—”every six months, for instance”—will also “create a buildup because some of these products are increasingly designed to last longer.”

Following the Golden Globes, Kylie’s cheekbones and smile were compared to Cillian Murphy and ridiculed for her “old” look.

“Imagine spending that much money on plastic surgery only to be told you look.

Like a man in his late forties,” one social media user exclaimed.

In addition to pursuing lip fillers, Kylie has disclosed that she underwent breast augmentation surgery when she was a teenager but has since expressed regret over the decision.

In the most recent season of The Kardashians, she stated, “I just wish I had never done them in the first place.” I advise anyone considering it to postpone it until after the children have been born.

Dr. Andrew Peredo, a facial aesthetics expert, suggested Kylie had cheek buccal fat removal. A year ago, he suggested she could have had liposuction on the mandible.

He stated, “This is difficult to say because she has transitioned from a baby bump-adorned appearance to a womanly figure.”

“Seize the opportunity: Sign up for Webull UK and receive free shares!”

“She might have been able to achieve a slight reduction in the cheeks with some buccal fat reduction.”

“She may have also used liposuction to define her jaw, but that is difficult to determine.”

He also suggested that her nose appears “much thinner,” which could result from makeup contouring or surgery, and that her jawline had become more pronounced, which could be the consequence of surgery.

Dr. Peredo stated, “Perhaps the Kardashians didn’t particularly like their noses, as that appears to be the prevailing motive for their recent nose modifications.”

“In her opinion, her lips appear fuller.” When she was younger, her upper lip was not particularly prominent. She has undergone some form of augmentation, possibly fillers or a fat graft, as it is now extremely full.
