Florence Pugh has responded to “vulgar” social media users who criticized her body after she released images of herself at a fashion show wearing a translucent garment.
Sunday on Instagram, Pugh asked her 7.4 million followers, “What happened to you for you to be so satisfied with being so publicly disturbed by the size of my breasts and body?”
Friday in Rome, the actor, who has been in Black Widow and Midsommar, wore a pink gown designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of Valentino.
“I was thrilled to wear it; I was not the least bit anxious. She wrote, “I was not before, during, or even now after.”
Instagram prohibits photographs of women’s nipples but not men’s, prompting the celebrity to post on Saturday, “[t]echnically they’re covered?” before imploring society to “release the fucking nipple.”
