In 2021, while the rapper was performing at the Astroworld music festival, ten people were murdered in a crash.

A Texas grand jury has determined that the rapper Travis Scott will not face criminal charges for the fatal crowd collision that occurred during his concert.

In 2021, Scott, 32, was performing at the Astroworld music festival in Houston, Texas, when a crowd crush murdered ten people.

His attorney, Kent Schaffer, verified that a grand jury decided not to indict the rapper for any crimes related to the incident.

Travis Scott will not be charged for festival crowd crush death.

“He never encouraged others to harm others,” Schaffer said, adding that the decision is “a great relief.”

Police and federal officials are investigating whether Scott, concert promoter Live Nation, and others took adequate safety precautions.

Schaffer expressed sympathy for the victims and their families who were slain at the festival. “But Travis is not responsible,” he stated. The filing of criminal proceedings against him will not alleviate their suffering.

Jacques Berman Webster, the rapper’s actual name, has two children with Kylie Jenner. This week, sixteen months after his birth, the Kardashians star and Scott rechristened their son.

Scott had previously stated that he was unaware supporters sustained injuries during the crush.

In 2021, he told radio personality Charlamagne Tha God on his YouTube channel, “I didn’t realize what had occurred until minutes before the press conference [after the show]”

“Even after the performance, you only hear rumors, but I was unaware of the specifics.

“Even in that instant, you’re like, ‘Wait, what?'” People faint, incidents occur at concerts, but something similar…”

Ezra Blount, aged nine, was the youngest victim of injuries sustained in the collision.

The ages of the remaining victims ranged from 14 to 27.

Three hundred individuals were treated at the festival site, and thirteen are hospitalized.

Scott continues to face numerous civil lawsuits for the fatalities and injuries.
