Wilde, who rose to prominence in 1981 with the publication of Kids In America, wed Hal Fowler in 1996; the couple has two children.
Kim Wilde and Hal Fowler divorced after more than twenty-five years of marriage.
Last year, the 62-year-old music queen and her husband agreed to separate.
In a joint statement posted to Wilde’s social media pages, the couple, who have two children together, stated that they remained “on good terms.”
The assertion stated: “Kim Wilde and Hal Fowler desire to declare that they parted amicably and divorced one year ago.
“There is no third party engaged. They remain on cordial terms and wish each other the best in the subsequent parts of their life.
There will be no further comments or announcements.
The couple met while performing in the hit West End musical Tommy and were married in Codicote, Hertfordshire, in September 1996.
The 1981 release of Kids In America catapulted Wilde to popularity as the daughter of rock and roll legend Marty Wilde.
She gained a household celebrity after initiating a trend with her blonde mullet hairstyle, which was imitated by young girls in the United Kingdom, and toured with the likes of David Bowie and Michael Jackson.
Wilde began her Greatest Hits tour in September of this year, following the postponement of her gigs due to COVID.
Fowler, 54, is best recognized for his roles as Mimban Lieutenant in Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) and Lord Godalming in Dracula (2013).
