Blink-182 postponed UK and Irish shows when percussionist Travis Barker travelled to the US for a “urgent family matter.

The rock band was scheduled to perform at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Friday and Saturday before proceeding to the SSE Arena in Belfast and the 3 Arena in Dublin the following week.

The band tweeted Friday morning: “Due to an urgent family matter, Travis had to return home to the United States”.

The performances in Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin have been postponed.

As soon as they become available, additional details regarding his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided.

Additionally, Barker, aged 47, posted images from what appeared to be an airport prayer chamber to his Instagram story.

The musician and his 44-year-old wife Kourtney Kardashian are expecting their first child.

The reality star posted an Instagram video of herself clutching a “Travis, I’m pregnant.” sign at a June Blink-182 concert.

After holding a ‘practice’ wedding after the Grammys in April hosted by an Elvis Presley impersonator at 2 am, the couple proclaimed in May of last year that they were legally married.

Barker has been previously married twice, first to Melissa Kennedy for a limited period and then to actress and former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, with whom he has two children.

Kardashian has three children with Scott Disick, a US media celebrity she dated for nearly a decade.
