Friday night, the 25-year-old television and social media sensation was reportedly treated for a ruptured ovarian cyst.
Former Love Island star Zara McDermott was hospitalized for “excruciating abdominal pain.”
The 25-year-old, who is dating Sam Thompson from Made in Chelsea, stated she was treated for a possible ruptured ovarian cyst on Friday night.
McDermott revealed on Instagram that she returned to the hospital early Saturday morning for more scans to ensure her ovary had not become twisted.
She shared a selfie of herself in a hospital bed with the caption, “Wow, last night was quite eventful! Sam had to transport me to the emergency room because I was in horrible abdominal pain…
“Had a hunch it was a ruptured cyst on my ovary because I’ve had one before, but on the opposite side, and it felt identical.”
The celebrity thanked the A&E crew that treated her and stated that all of her tests and scans were completed within two hours.
In a second post, she thanked her followers for their support and stated, “They found blood in my abdomen, which suggests it’s a ruptured cyst and nothing else.”
She then praised the NHS professionals as “bloody fantastic” and stated that her ovary “looks fine” and isn’t twisted.
