The General Medical Council has placed restrictions on the television doctor’s practice, requiring him to have a chaperone when interacting with female patients.

The medical watchdog is investigating a celebrity cosmetic doctor who appeared on This Morning after claims were made against him.

Dr. Tijion Esho, who appeared on the ITV show alongside hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, has had his practice temporarily restricted while the General Medical Council conducts an investigation (GMC).

He is prohibited from seeing female patients without a chaperone or interacting with patients outside of a therapeutic setting.

Dr. Esho is also among the professionals featured on Body Fixers on E4.

A GMC representative stated, “Dr. Oluwafemi Esho’s practice is restricted while we investigate the claims against him.”

“In August 2022, we reported Dr. Esho to an Interim Orders Tribunal at the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, which placed many interim conditions on his practice.

“These include that, except in life-threatening crises, he may not consult with female patients without a chaperone present and that, except in life-threatening emergencies, he may not contact patients outside of a clinical environment, either virtually or in person.”

“His last appearance on the program occurred in August 2019 — over three years ago.”

The investigation follows allegations that Phil and Holly bypassed the line for the Queen’s lying-in-state last month, which caused This Morning to face uproar.
