Lisa, a member of Blackpink, is set to appear on the critically acclaimed programme “The White Lotus.”

The third season of the hit HBO series, which focuses on wealthy, entitled vacationers, is moving to Lisa’s native Thailand.

Production of the dark comedy is scheduled to begin later this month in Bangkok, Phuket, and Koh Samui.

The role that Lisa, whose full name is Lalisa Manobal, will play has not yet been disclosed. Also returning for a third season are talents such as Parker Posey.

In addition to Jason Isaacs and Leslie Bibb of “Iron Man”, Michelle Monaghan of “True Detective”, Dom Hetrakul, and Tayme Thapthimthong are also featured. Julian Kostov and Scott Glenn will also be present.

Actress Natasha Rothwell will reprise her role as Belinda, a luxury hotel masseuse, from the first season.

Blackpink’s Bright Future Secured

Lisa is among the most well-known celebrities in Thailand. Although this is her first major acting role, she previously appeared in a Thai drama in 2007 in a minor role.

The K-pop supergroup Blackpink recently renewed their contracts with their agency, ensuring the quartet will continue to perform together.

The announcement came after months of contract negotiations, during which fans feared the group might disband.

Since their debut in 2016, Blackpink has become the biggest K-pop girl group in the world.

The new contract signed by the music group is expected to be among the most financially significant of the year.

Each of the four twenty-something members is a celebrity in their own right, with each having over 70 million Instagram followers, in addition to the over 92 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel.

They have performed at major international music festivals, including Coachella and BST Hyde Park, and have represented renowned fashion houses such as Chanel and Dior.
