Following Paul Cattermole’s demise last month, the remaining five members of the band have expressed “so much disbelief.”

Due to the passing of one member and the absence of another, pop band S Club 7 has rebranded for their impending tour as S Club.

Paul Cattermole, the group’s founding member, was discovered dead at his residence in Dorset last month at the age of 46, and Hannah Spearritt has withdrawn from the band’s 25th-anniversary tour, leaving the group as a five-piece.

On the band’s Instagram, member Jon Lee stated, “You may have noticed that there are only five of us here today. Hannah will always be a member of S Club 7, but she will not be joining us on this tour.”

“We wish her all the best for the future.”

Also erased from the band’s social media and website is the number seven.

Lee stated in the band’s Instagram video, “We have been in a bit of shock, and it has taken us a while to find the right words to express how we feel about losing our brother Paul.”

Rachel Stevens added, “Just taking the time to process and wrap our heads around it all. As well as spending time together to remember Paul and all the memories we shared.”

Tina Barrett stated, “It is just extremely sad, and it is incredibly difficult to comprehend at this time.”

Bradley McIntosh stated that the band members were “still in such a state of disbelief.”

“Paul was a big brother to all of us, including you,” he continued.

He was genuinely an exceptional human specimen.

No one could replace our Paul because he lives on within each one of us.

Jo O’Meara remarked, “Whenever Paul walked into a room, you knew he was there because he would just light it up with humor and love – a truly unique individual.”

In memory of Cattermole, the group’s tour has been renamed the Good Times tour. Barrett stated, “That was his song, and all the fans knew it was his song, so it just feels right.”

Spearritt and Cattermole dated during their tenure with S Club 7 and briefly rekindled their relationship in 2015.

The actress and singer has since named Cattermole her “first true love” and said he was “so excited” about the band’s tour.

In October, the band was supposed to reunite for a 25th-anniversary tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland.

S Club 7 encouraged supporters to donate to the National Youth Music Theatre “instead of flowers” after Cattermole’s death.

There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Cattermole’s demise, according to the police.
