After being sued for sexual harassment by a former employee, DJ Paul Oakenfold “categorically” denied the allegations.

Last week, the woman filed a lawsuit in California alleging harassment and unlawful termination against the British DJ and producer and his management company.

On Monday, he described it as an attempt to extort him and tarnish his reputation.

“Let me be absolutely clear: I categorically deny any claims of improper conduct,” he wrote online.

According to Deadline, Jane Roe, a 24-year-old woman, has accused him of exposing himself and masturbating in front of her.

Respect, honesty, and consent are values that I hold sacred, and I have always treated everyone with the utmost professionalism.

“It’s disheartening to see these baseless accusations, which appear to be nothing more than a calculated attempt to tarnish my reputation and extort money.”

The woman claims that Mr. Oakenfold and others violated her employment and workplace rights at two of his companies. She is seeking more than $25,000 (£20,100) in damages.

The Grammy-nominated DJ and composer of the Swordfish film score has produced and remixed artists such as U2, Madonna, Britney Spears, and the Rolling Stones.
