Nicola Peltz Beckham, who married the former Spice Girl’s eldest son in April, wanted to “wear Victoria’s wedding dress,” but the designer’s atelier “couldn’t manufacture it in time.”
Nicola Peltz Beckham has denied rumors of a “feud” between her and Victoria Beckham, her mother-in-law.
In April, the American actress, 27, is rumored to have wed the former Spice Girl’s eldest son Brooklyn, 23, in Palm Beach in a ceremony that reportedly cost millions.
Peltz Beckham, in an interview with The Sunday Times, stated: “There is no feud! I keep encountering the word “feud” everywhere.
“I have no idea why they say feud. I mean, perhaps they detected something? And now they refer to it as a feud?”
She continued, “There is no perfect family!”
Peltz Beckham, the daughter of the billionaire businessman and investor Nelson Peltz, stated that she does not pay attention to the commotion around the alleged conflict.
According to the rumor mill, her refusal to wear a wedding dress made by Victoria Beckham was the genesis of her ill will.
She elected to wear a Valentino Couture gown instead.
Peltz Beckham addressed this issue in a newspaper article, stating: “I believe everything began, and I’ve stated this before since I did not wear Victoria’s wedding dress.
“But the truth is, I wanted to wear it so much and thought it was so lovely that Brooklyn’s mother made it for me! And I couldn’t wait to wear it! And I didn’t end up wearing it.”
She claimed that after a “text chain” regarding the outfit, Victoria Beckham called her mother to say she couldn’t make the dress because her “atelier couldn’t produce it in time.”
Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has previously referred to such feud rumors as “ridiculous.”
Peltz Beckham paid respect to other members of her husband’s family, describing his father David as “a legend” and his sister Harper as “the nicest,” adding that she had always desired a younger sister despite having one elder sister and six brothers.
She added that the couple wants to start a family within two years “We intend to have a large family. I have seven siblings while he has three.”
The actress is most known for her appearances in the movie The Last Airbender and Transformers: Age of Extinction, as well as her recurrent role on the television series Bates Motel.
She also wrote, directed, and performed in her unreleased film Lola James.
In the upcoming episode of Welcome to Chippendales, she will portray Dorothy Stratten, a 20-year-old Playboy Playmate who was murdered.
