A month from now, the 64-year-old singer’s “40 Years of Morrissey” tour appears on hold.

Morrissey is undergoing treatment for “physical exhaustion” following the postponement of a series of concerts.

His tour manager has also instructed him to recover for two weeks.

The former Smiths frontman was due to perform on Friday at the Honda Centre in Anaheim, California, and Saturday at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

Both venues announced the cancellations on social media, citing “unforeseen circumstances.”

The occasion was to mark the twenty-first anniversary of his self-titled album, ‘You Are The Quarry’.

Morrissey, 64, is currently on his “40 Years of Morrissey” tour; however, performances in countries such as Peru, Chile, and Argentina for the following month also seem to be cancelled.

The Morrissey-Solo website indicates that concerts in South America were cancelled as of 24th February.
