According to court documents obtained by NBC’s Today in the United States, reality star Kim Kardashian feared that a man who claimed to be talking with her telepathically could “escalate to physical assault.”

US media reports indicate that Kim Kardashian has been given a restraining order against a guy who claimed to have been speaking with her telepathically.

According to court documents obtained by NBC’s Today, the individual has been ordered to maintain a minimum distance of 100 yards from Kardashian, 42, and is prohibited from contacting her directly or indirectly.

The businesswoman and reality television celebrity expressed concern that the man would “escalate to physical assault.” Documents show that he claimed to own a firearm.

NBC reported that Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Adrian Gidaya Roxas issued a five-year restraining order.

Kardashian stated in the injunction filed by the legal team that the man has repeatedly sought to contact her and believes “that I am engaging with him in some way.”

“[The individual] claimed that I had been talking telepathically with him,” Kardashian stated, according to court filings. She noted that the man “has also shown growing dissatisfaction about my lack of response.”

She stated that although she had never met or spoken with the individual, he “attempted to enter my apartment three times in August 2022.”

During a recent trip to New York, he reportedly also attempted to enter her hotel.

At the end of November, details of Kardashian’s divorce settlement with ex-husband Kanye West, who officially changed his name to Ye, became public.

The former couple will share custody of their four children, who range in age from three to nine years old.

West was recently removed from Twitter following an interview in which he praised Adolf Hitler; this is the latest antisemitic remark to garner controversy.
