Jill Scott is the winner of the ITV reality program I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! actor Owen Warner came in second, followed by former health secretary Matt Hancock.

Scott stated that she “could not believe” she had been crowned Jungle Queen.

The controversy surrounding Hancock’s involvement in the show resulted in the suspension of his whip with the Conservative Party.

When asked by Ant and Dec why he participated, Hancock responded, “I wanted to demonstrate my personality.”

“Many individuals approach me with preconceived notions for obvious reasons, and I simply desired to be myself,” he concluded.

“However, I also believe that as a whole, politicians do not appear sufficiently human. And this is likely the most radical method to express yourself.”

He continued, “I carry expectations; people believe they know me, but they don’t; they know Matt Hancock from television and the media.”

“I made it clear that I would be myself as if their cameras weren’t on, and that’s exactly what I did. And that is how I am in my private life.”

The final on Sunday was viewed by an average of 10.1 million viewers, according to overnight numbers from Barb.

ITV statistics indicate that 47% of the vote went to Scott, 31% to Warner, and 22% to Hancock. After Hancock was removed, Scott defeated Warner by 58% to 42%.

However, the fact that Hancock reached the final did not impress some of his fellow legislators. After appearing on the show, Business Secretary Grant Shapps stated that Hancock’s parliamentary career was “very much over.

He stated on Times Radio, “I do believe… that his proper role in the last few weeks should have been in the House of Representatives, serving his constituents.

It is commonly stated that politics is show business for ugly people. He should be with us ugly people back in the House, not in the Australian jungle.

During his time in the jungle, Hancock participated in ten Bushtucker trials, five of which were determined by public vote.

Since last week, the public has voted to keep their favorite campmates in the jungle, as opposed to evicting their least like ones.

Hancock revealed during his exit interview that he was apprehensive about participating in the series and that he anticipated the difficult questions posed by his fellow campmates.

“Some of those grillings were quite joyful and cathartic because I was able to express precisely what I thought, while others were incredibly emotional because they dealt with aspects of my background that everyone knows about,” he said.

We had mature conversations about it, and although there were strong feelings, there was no hostility; these were dialogues.

He said, “I am aware that my entry was contentious, but we all have many facets to our personality.”

Following his interview, Hancock was observed reuniting with his girlfriend Gina Coladangelo, whom he had been caught kissing on CCTV in 2021; these events ultimately led to his resignation as health secretary.

During the time they were photographed kissing, Hancock’s social distance restrictions were in effect. When the Sun published the video, he received an onslaught of criticism.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak criticized Hancock’s participation in the series, stating that he should not be away from his constituents when Parliament is in session.

Conservative colleagues and opposition MPs, as well as the 44-year-local old’s Conservative association, expressed “disappointment” and accused Hancock of a “severe error in judgment.”

A message from the Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice group was displayed on a banner flown over the camp on 9 November, shortly after the MP’s arrival.

Hancock, who stated he entered the jungle to raise awareness for his dyslexia campaign, was the only contestant to survive every public vote eviction during his stay on the show.

Hancock earlier stated that he will contribute a portion of his rumored £400,000 compensation for participating in the series to a hospice in his constituency and a dyslexia charity.

Scott laughed when asked how she felt about being voted Queen of the Jungle, “I just can’t believe it, I think I’m going to owe my grandmother a lot of money for 12 million votes.”

She said that her fellow campers were “simply fantastic.”

“We were a cohesive group,” she concluded. “I don’t believe there should be a single winner, because we couldn’t have gotten through it without each other. I believe we’ve all won I’m A Celebrity.”

Sporting pals of Scott were quick to express their congratulations online.

On Twitter, former England rugby player Rochelle “Rocky” Clark remarked, “Could not have been a better decision. The popular vote.”

Fara Williams, a former England player, concurred, stating that it was “never in doubt” and added, “Queen of the jungle very proud of you… you crushed it.”

Former footballer Fern Whelan expressed her excitement at Scott’s victory on Twitter, writing, “SO PROUD OF YOU!”

And actor and last year’s jungle champion Danny Miller noted that it was a joy to take over the crown to Scott since she was a “deserving winner,” adding, “It’s an honor to hand over the crown to you! Enjoy it!”

Warner, who placed second, exclaimed that he was “very pumped” about Scott’s victory. “I believe everyone would agree that Jill deserves it the most,” he remarked.

Earlier in Sunday’s final, Scott, Hancock, and Warner were observed competing in their final Bushtucker trials before sharing their farewell dinner in camp.

In the Flood, Your Face trial, Hancock’s head was submerged in water for five minutes as he breathed through a snorkel. His face was adorned with various creatures, including eels, yabbies, and water spiders.

I’m Famous… Let Me Out Of Here! is one of ITV’s most popular shows, airing for three weeks each November. Throughout the entire season, eight million viewers have consistently tuned in.

This year’s campers included ITV News presenter Charlene White, A Place In The Sun host Scarlette Douglas, Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver, and singer Boy George.

There were also comedians Babatunde Aléshé and Seann Walsh, radio DJ Chris Moyles, and former rugby player Mike Tindall.
