The Marvel star, who was hospitalized in intensive care after the accident, stated in a social media post that his “30 plus” fractured bones will “get stronger,” before thanking all of his fans for their kind sentiments to him and his family.

Following a snowplow accident that landed him in intensive care, actor Jeremy Renner confessed that he fractured over thirty bones.

The 52-year-old man said on social media on Saturday that the year 2023 began with “tragedy” for his entire family. As the 6,500-pound “PistenBully” left him with “30 plus shattered bones” on New Year’s Day.

Renner, well known for portraying Marvel’s Hawkeye, uploaded a selfie of himself in a hospital bed receiving therapy.

“I would want to thank EVERYONE for their kind words and concern for my family and me,” he added.

“Many thanks and affection to you all. These thirty or more fractured bones will heal and become stronger. Just as the love and bond with family and friends will grow stronger. Best wishes and love to you all.”

Since the mishap, the celebrity has provided frequent updates on his condition. In a selfie taken on January 3, he stated that he was “too messed up” to type.

The incident occurred on the actor’s property in Reno, Nevada.

A day before the disaster, on New Year’s Eve, a snowstorm struck the region, leaving thousands of houses without electricity and hundreds of highways impassable.

As Renner attempted to clear snow from a road near Lake Tahoe for a relative’s car, the snowplow began to move on its own.

The actor was “totally crushed” by the machine, as the right side of his chest collapsed. And his upper body was crushed, according to a 911 call log.

This month he returned to his childhood home, where he was able to watch himself on the Paramount+ television series in which he stars, Mayor of Kingstown.
