- Grace Dent leaves show
- Jamie Lynn Spears departs
- Dent reflects on experience
After the departure of Grace Dent from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Two days later, on Monday, it was declared that Jamie Lynn, Britney Spears’ sister, would depart from the program.
Grace Dent, a restaurant critic, has expressed her opinion for the first time since her medical evacuation from the I’m A Celebrity wilderness.
The columnist stated that her departure from the Australian jungle earlier this week was not “as intended or desired.” Two days following her release, Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn announced her medical withdrawal from the programme.
Dent issued the following statement on social media following her departure: “I appreciate the tremendous support and sympathy that has been shown towards me since my dismissal on Monday. Although I am currently overcome with extreme sadness, I am determined to keep alive in my heart the tremendous personal progress I have made in recent weeks.
Her Instagram post featured photographs from her time in the I’m A Celebrity wilderness. It was capped with an image of the celebrity savoring a hearty breakfast after going days without eating.
Dent’s Experience in the Jungle
Dent, fifty, stated that a 15-day ordeal “dwelling primarily outdoors in a rain forest during extremely wet weather while without a phone or any contact with loved ones” provided her with a “brief, sharp glimpse into the suffering endured by some individuals around the world.”

She said the programme educated her about herself and let her realise she was stronger than she thought.
She stated, “I was astounded that I could be shown an American football helmet and informed that I would shortly be ensnared at the neck and infested to the eyebrows with cockroaches with the thought that the only thing I had to do was breathe.”
Forever will I remember the cockroach that entered my auditory canal and its tiny feet moving closer to my brain. We required two attempts to entice him to join us.
Dent described herself as “oblivious to the fact that she was sleeping with ravenous rats, chattering toads, moths, and Huntsman spiders.” She added that the show had taught her “that when you must sleep close to the enemy, the key is to maintain composure and empathy; screaming accomplishes nothing but calories wasted.”
She concluded her post by stating that she intended to formulate “hefty dinner preparations” once fully recovered.
Jamie Lynn Spears’ Departure
She said, “I hope I brought a smile to your face.” “Thoughtless and contrary to my initial intentions, I completed the task with a siren red gel manicure that remained chip-free. I refrained from crying when I removed my bra and discovered a family of mealworms inhabiting the right cup. This must constitute an accomplishment on some level.
Monday night’s scheduled installment of the bushtucker trial, Down The Tubes, was Dent.
Nick Pickard, an actor from Hollyoaks, instead read a statement to the camp in which she expressed regret to her campmates and informed them of her early departure, saying, “I am truly sorry to disappoint you.”
She previously expressed her difficulties in the jungle, telling her campmate Josie Gibson last week: “I’ve had enough. I am entirely done with it. “All I want to do is go home.”
Jamie Lynn Spears’ departure was declared on Wednesday.
“A representative for the program stated, “She has bonded well with her fellow personalities and been an exceptional campmate who has triumphed at trials.”
