Noel Gallagher and Sara MacDonald have reportedly announced their intention to divorce.
The couple, who have been wed since 2011, stated that their children “remain their top priority” and requested privacy.
They met in 2000, while the former Oasis guitarist and songwriter was still married to Meg Matthews.
In June 2011, Gallagher and MacDonald wed in a private ceremony. Donovan and Sonny, their two children, were born between 2007 and 2010.
A spokesman for the couple stated, “Noel and Sara will continue to prioritize the care of their children.”
“Noel and Sara request that the media respect their and our family’s privacy at this time.”
Gallagher is also the shared father of Anais Gallagher with Matthews.
Friday, the singer-songwriter released a video including new music.
He recorded voices and instruments in the recording studio.
