David Walliams has served as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon since 2012, and he has received three National Television Awards for being the outstanding judge during his tenure.

Following the judge’s apology for improper statements regarding candidates, David Walliams’ future on Britain’s Got Talent is “very much in doubt.”

A spokeswoman for the ITV show stated that the comedian and actor’s participation in the upcoming season is not definite, despite rumors that he will not serve on the judging panel for the first time in over a decade.

David Walliams' future on Britain's Got Talent is uncertain.

According to The Sun, Walliams, who joined the company in 2012, will be leaving.

This comes after the 51-year-old actor apologized for “disrespectful remarks” made during filming breaks in 2020.

A Britain’s Got Talent representative told PA news agency: “The panel of judges for Britain’s Got Talent 2023 will be revealed in due time.

“David’s participation in next year’s concert is extremely uncertain at the present.

apology for offensive

However, no decision has been made as of yet.

What words are attributed to Walliams?

It is believed that the comments were disparaging and sexually graphic, calling one participant a “c” and adding to another, “She believes you want to f her, but you don’t.”

They were likely captured by microphones on the judges’ table in the center of the theatre.

Walliams, in a statement, said: “These were private talks that, like the majority of chats between friends, were never meant to be shared. Nonetheless, I apologize.”

Britain’s Got Talent’s production company, Thames TV, stated in a statement that the language used was “unacceptable” and that individuals involved have been “reminded of their responsibilities.”

ITV stated that it did not approve of the language and that it has “spoken to the producers” about the situation.

Walliams has served on the panel alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon, and he has been crowned the top judge three times at the National Television Awards.

However, according to the PA news agency, no one is currently committed for the 2023 season, and no auditions in front of a panel of judges are planned for another two months.
