The star, who was scheduled to participate in a reunion tour honoring the group’s 25th anniversary, was discovered dead in his residence in April.

A coroner has announced that Paul Cattermole, the singer for the musical band S Club 7 who died last month at the age of 46, died of natural causes.

As a consequence, the Dorset Coroner’s Service announced in a statement that there will be no investigation into Cattermole’s death.

On April 6, the founding member of S Club 7 was discovered dead at his home in Dorset. Just weeks after the group announced a significant reunion tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary.

On Monday, it was verified that the shows would proceed as scheduled this autumn, but without Hannah Spearritt. The group will also perform under its new moniker, S Club.

A spokesperson for the Dorset Coroner’s Office stated, “We can confirm that Mr. Cattermole died of natural causes and that our investigation is now complete.”

As he died of natural causes, there will be no investigation.

Jon Lee announced Spearritt’s departure from the tour via Instagram video earlier this week: “You may have observed that there are only five of us here today, and although Hannah will always be a member of S Club 7, she will not be joining us on this tour.

“We wish her all the best for the future.”

In 2015, Spearritt and Cattermole briefly reunited after dating in the band. She referred to him as her “first true love” in a eulogy following his passing.

Lee added, “We have been in a bit of a state of shock, and it has taken us some time to find the appropriate words to describe how we feel about our brother Paul’s passing.”

Tina Barrett also told her followers, “It’s just so sad, it’s incredibly difficult to process right now.”

Instead of flowers, the band encouraged admirers to donate to the National Youth Music Theatre following Cattermole’s passing.

Police had previously verified that his death was not suspicious.
