As she announced the news to her Instagram followers, the TV host and model, who is married to musician John Legend, stated that she is “feeling positive and amazing.”
Chrissy Teigen is pregnant after a terrible miscarriage two years ago.
The TV host and model claimed she is “feeling hopeful and great” as she announced her pregnancy to her 38 million Instagram followers.
Mrs. Teigen, who is married to John Legend, described her stillbirth at 20 weeks of pregnancy in September 2020 as the “worst anguish” imaginable.
The couple has a 6-year-old daughter named Luna and a 4-year-old boy named Miles.
The 36-year-old celebrity posted on Instagram: “The past few years have been, to say the least, an emotional whirlwind, but happiness has returned to our house and hearts.
“I don’t believe I’ll ever leave a meeting with more excitement than apprehension, but thus far, everything has been flawless and lovely, and I’m hopeful and ecstatic.”
Two years after her heartbreaking loss, she revealed how anxious she is about the upcoming pregnancy.
The couple had given their son the name Jack.
Her candor on stillbirth was praised for demystifying the process, as she published photographs of her and her husband crying in the hospital after the birth and loss of their baby.
She penned the following at the time: “We are astonished and in the kind of excruciating pain you only hear about, a pain we have never experienced before.
“Despite bags and bags of blood transfusions, we were never able to stop the bleeding and provide our infant the vital fluids. It simply was not enough.”
She said in February that she was “deep in another IVF cycle in an attempt to save as many eggs as possible and perhaps produce robust, healthy embryos.”
Teigan implied in her Instagram post that they had undergone IVF to conceive by referencing her wounded leg from the shots.
