His previous bandmates said they are “crushed” to know about his demise and adulated him as “vital” to the arrangement of the band.
An establishing individual from Bon Jovi, previous bass player Alec John Such, has kicked the bucket, the band has reported.
They said in an explanation: “We are grief stricken to hear the insight about the death of our dear companion Alec John Such.
“He was a unique. As an establishing individual from Bon Jovi, Alec was basic to the development of the band.
Frankly, we found our direction to one another through him – He was a cherished companion of Tico and carried Richie to see us perform.
“Alec was in every case wild and brimming with life.
“Today those unique recollections carry a grin to my face and a tear to my eye.
“We’ll miss him profoundly.”
Mr Such was one of the establishing individuals from the New Jersey musical crew and showed up on their presentation collection Bon Jovi in 1984.
The band broke the Top 40 with their most memorable single “Runaway” prior to making tremendous progress with their third collection “Elusive When Wet” which sold in excess of 20 million duplicates.
The record included three Top 10 singles including rock exemplary “Livin’ on a Prayer”.
Such left the band in 1994, when he was supplanted by bassist Hugh McDonald.
He later re-joined the band for its enlistment into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
